X Shadowban Checker

Check the evidence behind a suspected X shadowban: account privacy, logged-out profile visibility, Latest search, and official restriction notices.

No account connection. No invented score. No claim that a manual check can guarantee reach.

Private guided check

Test what another person can actually see

  1. 01

    Your posts are public

In X settings, open Privacy and safety, then Audience and tagging. Confirm that Protect your posts is off.

    Are your posts public?
  2. 02

Your profile is visible outside your account

Open a private browser window or use an account that does not follow you. Visit your exact profile URL and look for recent public posts.

Can that viewer open your profile and see recent posts?
  3. 03

A recent post appears in Latest search

From the other browser or account, search from:@yourhandle, switch to Latest, and look for a recent public post. New posts can take time to index.

Does a recent post appear in Latest search?
  4. 04

X has not shown an account restriction notice

Return to your signed-in account. Check for a locked, limited, verification, or policy notice before assuming an invisible restriction.

Is your account free of a restriction notice?

Interpret the result

A missing search result is a clue, not a diagnosis.

X says not every post appears in search. Protected posts, safe-search settings, incomplete account setup, relevance systems, spam filtering, blocks, and a formally limited account can all affect what another person sees.

Repeat the test with a recent public post and the Latest search filter. If the result changes between viewers, check their safe-search, mute, and block settings before drawing a conclusion.

If a check fails

Resolve the visible cause first.

  • Turn off post protection only if you intend the account to be public.
  • Complete any verification or restriction steps shown inside X.
  • Check the exact post from another viewer and in Latest search.
  • Review recent repeated, automated, or near-duplicate activity against X's search policies.
  • Use X Help for a locked or formally limited account.
